The program includes Hebrew language, Jewish History and Traditions and Geography of Israel. All subjects are taught by teachers qualified by the Israeli Ministry of Education.

Teacher training

Teachers are expected to invest time an effort in keeping up-to-date in new technological developments and are expected to attend regular teacher training programs. It is crucial that ORT teachers are highly qualified and are able to truly inspire and motivate the students. The Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program helps our teachers to become just that. Especially developed for the teachers of Regeneration 2000, CPD works on the level of formal training; teachers take part in day or short-term courses in the school, regular weekly seminars at ORT Technology Centers around the city and World ORT training seminars. Teachers are also offered the opportunity to participate in training for their own subjects outside the ORT framework.
On an informal level, teachers are expected to cooperate with colleagues at ORT schools around the world and share their knowledge and experiences as well as take part in any relevant activities that can contribute to their technological and educational abilities.

ORT finally returned to Russia, the country of its birth, in 1991 after an enforced absence of 53 years.  The Official opening of the ORT Moscow Technology School in 1994 symbolized the revival of ORT activities in post Soviet territories and of a new era in the lives of the Jewish communities in the region.

Almost ten years of hard work has enabled the ORT Moscow Technology School to give its students employable skills for the 21st century labor market and a real advantage when seeking employment and further education.

In order to maintain its place at the frontline of technology education, ORT must continually improve its services to the students and to the community. Facilities need to be upgraded and improved in line with new developments in technology, study programs need to be updated and new programs introduced.

ORT is ready to continue its work for the Jewish community in Moscow.
